Certified Financial Planner

CFP® professionals are held to strict ethical standards to ensure financial planning recommendations are in your best interest. A CFP® professional must acquire several years of experience related to delivering financial planning services to clients and pass the comprehensive CFP® Certification Exam before they can call themselves a CFP® professional. Master of Science in Taxation stresses real-world content that prepares students to be knowledgeable tax professionals. Courses cover general and specialized tax subjects, including: estate and gift tax, partnerships, C corporations, LLCs and S corporations, California and multi-state tax, international tax, retirement plans, tax issues for individuals, and tax research.

Additionally, the Chartered Family Office Specialist designation requires individuals to demonstrate competence in successfully managing a family office.
